Honey is sold by weight rather than fluid volume. It's denser than water, so a container that holds 8 fluid ounces of liquid holds roughly 12 ounces of honey.
Raw honey crystallizes over time. That's a sign of real, unheated honey rather than a flaw. Stand the glass jar in warm — not boiling — water and stir it back to liquid. The bear bottle takes warm water too, just not hot water or a microwave. Store at room temperature; refrigeration speeds crystallization up.
