Bee Pollen Granules

Farmer Soul Bee Pollen Granules are exactly what the bees brought back to the hive — nothing added, nothing taken out. Packed into a small glass jar because this is a food most people should meet in a small quantity first.

Look closely and you'll see the granules aren't one color. Pale yellow, gold, tan, rust, a few nearly black. Each pellet is pollen from a different bloom, packed by a single bee on a single foraging trip. That range is what tells you it's real pollen from a working hive rather than a uniform processed product.

Taste and texture

Dry, slightly chalky granules that soften as you chew. Faintly sweet up front, a little floral, with a bitter edge on the finish. It tastes like the inside of a flower, which is more or less what it is. Some people love it straight away; some need it mixed into something.

How to use it

• Spoon over yogurt, oatmeal, or cut fruit
• Blend into a smoothie
• Scatter across toast with honey or nut butter
• Eat a few granules on their own

Don't cook with it. Heat changes the texture and the flavor turns harsh.

Before you try it

Bee pollen is not for everyone. If you have a known pollen allergy, a bee or wasp sting allergy, or any history of severe allergic reaction, talk to your doctor before trying it. Start with two or three granules and wait a day. Stop immediately and seek medical attention if you notice itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing. If you are pregnant or nursing, check with your doctor first.

Storage

Keep the jar sealed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Pollen picks up moisture from the air, so close it up properly between uses.
